Well, we'll certainly have IronMonger and the Abomination released very soon thanks to the Iron Man and the Hulk movies ... Not that I complain about it, I am really looking forward to having HUGE villains in my collection.

Did you have a look at the vote results on

http://www.marvelcustoms.co.uk/figurinepollresults.htm  ???

I am glad to see Alpha Flight is the first choice of team ! Now, let's see if EM take this into account ...

the bad new (imo) is that a Machine Man and a Doc Samson figurines seem unlikely ...

Pretty good, considering the size.

I agree with you on the Iron Dwarf but it was out of their hands for Beast (Eaglemoss wanted to do the classic furry beast)

from the Q&A #3 on the superherofigurineforum...

1.What is the criteria for choosing which characters are being made? Does Marvel send a listing or does Eaglemoss decide? How are disputes about characters handled?

The team basically choose all the characters. We base it on popularity and, when there's a dispute, a lot of shouting and debating (followed by a bit of name-calling and sulking). Technically I have the final say but both Dan and Gary are bigger than me so I have to tread carefully. Richard's the youngest of the team so we bow to his knowledge of modern characters like Apocalypse and Mr. Sinister and that no one but me is remotely interesting in the original Living Brain. Some figures Marvel ask us for specifically. The Beast was a good example. We tried to go for a classic blue furry version but were asked to do the modern version.

I think it's obvious they (Marvel) wanted to represent the current Astonishing X-Men line up.

I claimed, twice, that I was waiting until Alpha Flight figures came out.

Nope.

I changed that to just getting Avengers.

Nope.

I've also said, a few times and within the last two weeks, that I wasn't getting X-Men figures.

Nope (Through eBay, I discovered a comic shop about 25 minutes from my work that had a couple figures that I missed. The owner gave me 20% off each figure, so I splurged.)

Thirty-one figures in my collection.  Eight on order.  Another dozen on my "to buy" list.  For now.

Scratch that, 33 figures in my collection.  I have Captain Marvel and She-Hulk at home to work on.

I hear what you guys are saying. It would probably be easier to make a list of the ones that I DON'T have...
Here is a picture of Wasp Ryan:
