No Cyclops, I'm still anti-X-Men

++++++++++++

And that's something I never expected an Alpha Flight fan to say!

It's a consideration of cost, available space, and really not liking the sculpts of my favorite team members, Cyclops & Phoenix.  Top that off with unpleasant sculpts for Storm, Beast, & Kitty and it was an easy choice not to pick up X characters.  Colossus and Angel have been especially difficult to resist, though.

OK, I understand Beast and Strom. I can see Cyclops and Kitty. But Phoenix?!?!

What;s wrong with Phoenix? I think she is perfect!

Do I get my Merry Marvel Marching Society card taken away if I say I've never read either of those titles?

For Phoenix, her pose makes her look like she's the undead, her face is not attractive, her hair looks like a big, bad wig.  She just doesn't do it for me.

Ultron and Cyclops show up for my choosing...

Nice job, though the Cyclops could use some color.

I had such a great plan. I was going to only collect the heroes. As a rule, I'm
not usually interested in the villain toys.

Then I saw the Green Goblin, and he looked so nifty, I had to make an
exception. And as long as I had the Green Goblin, I should probably have
Doctor Octopus too. Oh, and Thanos looks really nice. Plus, I've just got to
have Galactus...

OK, Mysterio and Ultron, welcome to the club. Sigh.

But I'm NOT getting Deadpool. Got it? I'm NOT getting Gambit. A fella's got
to draw the line somewhere.

Most of the villains are way too nice to not buy them.  I agree, Green Goblin is spectacular for just a standing pose.  The look on his face is deliciously malicious.  Kraven is my favorite of the entire collection so far.  And c'mon, you have to have Doom no matter what!

What's more....when you see the whole bunch together the line that is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY off also becomes a little fainter, blurred and almost invisible :)

I got Cyclops and Deadpool today. Quite cool looking!

I loved Deadpool's series under Joe Kelly and Gail Simone. Never read any of
his X-Force appearances.

Looking at the pics up there and glancing over at the shelf where my
figurines live makes me wish for a She-Hulk-in-her-FF-uniform variant.
