My memory of DC comics from when I was a kid was that the only place they were available (70's) was at seaside resorts. At that young age I was always confused by the 'next issue on sale on (the following date)' at the end of the issue as we would get the issues three months after the US release dates (Anyone else remember THAT time?).

Indeed. The junk type shop I got mine from was in Weston-Super-Mare. I used to spend almost all my holiday money in that shop on my once a year visits

My Galactus, yellow Jacket and Luke Cage arrived yesterday. YJ looks superb LC is somehow off to me but I could not really tell you why. Galactus looks great but is a little smaller than anticipated.

I also had my DC cancelation letter and it really does read like it is all over. It is a shame that they could not have put more thought into writing it if that is not now the case.
