Favourite sculpt and paint job so far:-

Susan Richards! Mine looks as lovely as JB drew her!

Others worth mentioning; Green Goblin was my early fave, really detailed! Venom, not a favourite chararcter of mine but beautifully painted!

Tough to pick a "favorite", they have all been so well done so far. I have a fondness, already noted, for the ones that have more individualized poses, so on that basis I think I'd have to pick Colossus. The Vision would be a close second.

Had my first casualty today. I got the Bullseye, Hawkeye, and Black Cat
today and the top half of Hawkeye's bow was broken off at his hand.
Bummer.......

Indeed. The worst I have had to deal with thusfar was paint chipped off the
tip of Dr. Strange's pointing finger, and Mystique's gun being bent. (Easily
fixable, and the latter brought back happy memories of the toy soldiers I
had as a lad in Angleterre.)

Perhaps some super-glue or JB Weld (no relation) will fix it.

I just opened my Midtown package and have the exact same problem, along with a lot of paint off the hand and lower part of the bow.  Black Spider-Man was missing a lot of paint on his outstretched hand as well.  Black Cat obviously used one of her remaining lives to escape damage.

Don't they use the twist ties to hold the figures in place anymore?

Happily, Hawkeye came perfect for me, as did my Black Costume Spider-Man.  I did notice on the latter, however, that the center of balance is tricky.  The base appears to be just big enough so that it won't tip over, but a good stiff breeze or a bump to the desk it's sitting on may do the trick.

I'm really glad I got Iceman now.  Nice sculpt that I wasn't able to recognize in the box.  I also like the shiny paint job to get the effect of ice.  Same shiny paint job on Black Cat that makes her costume look like leather.  Great sculpt too!  Ditto for Mystique.  Not the biggest fan of the character, but her sculpt is fantastic.  I especially like the hang of her pants.  Magneto, Wolverine, Silver Surfer and Dr. Strange are all awesome, but the one I was most excited to get yesterday was Spider-Man.  Great sculpt.  So detailed!

Like you guys, I do occasionally get a figurine with chipped paint.  The Juggernaut I got yesterday had chipped knuckles (not your fault or problem, Ryan!), but not so much so that I would notice unless I look at him close up.  Same can be said for Thanos and a few other figurines.  My Red Skull came with one muzzle of a gun broken off, but it doesn't look so bad.  Actually looks like he's holding a grenade!  As I've said up thread, every once in a blue moon I'll get figurines with hands that have fallen off, but they're made in such a way that they are parts that fit onto posts.  A little super glue and they look just fine.

As far as my favorite figurine, that's a hard choice.  I'm really pleased with all of the ones that I own, currently at 34 and counting!  My top choices would have to be Iron Fist, Vision, Dr. Doom, and Loki.

Now you have the Iceman actually to hand, Matt, you can probably see what I
mean about how easy he would be to customize into a whole raft of other
characters. Come to think of it, Sue Storm would probably go a long way
toward becoming some other ladies, too.

Yeah, I can see how Bobby Drake is easily customizable to a whole host of other characters.

Did some rearranging. Since I have "towers" at each end of my main Marvel display, I decided to move the figurines to these higher elevations. Almost gets a 3D chess set vibe going.

I also decided to modify my "rule" for displaying them. The first few rows are now more or less chronological, for the original appearances of the characters. Beyond that, they're in the order they were released in England, with a few figures moved around to fill spaces left vacant by ones I skipped.
