You're right as usual.  Back to the customizing drawing board.  Time to hunt down another Polaris.  The damn cape was giving me fits the first time around so I junked it and used the figure for another job.

The cut around the edge combined with out it comes over the shoulder to connect below her neck was giving me fits.  I don't know if you found it easy to draw, but these non-artistic fingers don't do well with stuff like that in 3-D.

Depending upon how much filing you're prepared to do, you might have better luck converting the Emma Frost figure.

I did a LOT of filing.  Busted out the Dremel as well, that works well for taking down the larger areas.

An early blog update for the week.  Some news on Odin and Lockjaw.

Ares is such a boring looking figure.  The chest plate is ridiculous.

I like George Perez's Wonder Woman Ares much better, this version looks a little too Punisher for me.

I would have been very happy with the older version that was in the Handbook back in the day.  That guy looked nasty.

I don't mind the costume in general, but the emblem on the chest plate is so friggin silly looking.

Here's what I have so far with the Marvels.  I need to get a lot of the early pieces.  I really want the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man and Thor.  eBay will be my friend here.

I got the three Sentinel idea from JB, thought that was great.

Looks great, Brad!

I just did my first Midtown order in months, to catch up on the figures I've been wanting.  I have Ant-Man, Annihilus, Gorgon, Klaw and Grim Reaper on the way.  And not one DC figure.

Just saw on Mid-Town comics that Iron Man is 50% off right now.  Quite a few other lead figurines are on sale too, both DC and Marvel.  So if you need Iron Man, hop to it!
