I can't believe I didn't think I was good enough to draw comics.  What was I thinking.

Anyway, not to thread drift, I think that figurine looks great.  Again, a character I'm not that interested in, but I think it's great.  I find myself drawn to these minor characters in this figurine collection for some reason, picking them up because I like the figurine, not the character.  Funny how the collectors mind works at times.

She looks good to me. Her legs look fine, not any different from the other female sculpts. It might be an optical illusion due to the cicles running up her legs getting larger as they run above the knees. Looking at just the silhouette of her legs they look nice.

She'll be going on my "got to buy" list, too!

I suggest you take a look at THIS piece. I modeled my version of the Enchantress on Kirby's. This was not a skinny lady!

Okay, just had my first minor damaged figurine, Nighthawk.  What's the best glue to use?   Also, what paints are you using to touch up?  What's the best for these lead figurines?  Thanks.

Good ol' Krazy Glue.  I keep a couple bottles of their new brush-on dispenser handy.  Way better control than the original tube and nearly no mess.

I use a few diffferent brands of water based acrylics.  The paints from Games Workshop are popular, but very expensive for so little.  I get big 'jars' from Michaels of Delta Ceramcoat mostly and for a fraction of what GW charges.  Be sure to pick up a can of spray Dullcote from Testors or something similar that is a Matte finish.  A coat or two of that after you are done painting will go a long way to protect your work.

Okay, thanks Ryan.  It was just one of those talon tips.  I'm not sure I want to get into modifying the figurines too much, other than maybe adding some blacks where they should be.  It's funny, the magazine that came with Nighthawk had him in black without the talons on the cover.  Oh well.

I've cut all my talons off, and I'm going to paint all the blue parts black on my figure.
