Well, it seems they decided to start selling them at the newstands through a Greek company (translated and all!) over here as well and they start on a one-per-two-weeks schedule. Up to now, only two comic-book shops sold the English versions and I was very reluctant to start collecting them when they first started pouring in. It seems I have a great chance to complete my collection!
I bought a second Spider-Man and painted him black ala JB. They both look great!!!

nice work Ryan....have you seen the information on the Custom Competition over on my site?  We ran one last year and it had some superb entries....

3 categories to cater for all abilities, Repaint, Remodel and Resculpt.

may be worth a look.

I did, Steve.  That's why I haven't posted Jean-Paul in my crib (I have my own thread on Steve's site).  I probably won't enter him as I have a few more pieces in the works and I wanted to share today.

I'm having a heck of a time doing Snowbird's cape.  I've been experimenting, trying to get it to drape correctly from the top of the bust over the shoulder and back around in front of the figure, but all those curved points along the edge are killing me!  I've used regular ol' paper, a couple types of cloth and finally just rolled out some putty and put in in place.  I'm hoping it dries hard enough to draw on the details and cut them out.  Definitely the toughest challenge I've had so far.

Don't think of it three dimensionally, Ryan. Drape the cape from the
shoulders, but across the chest do it strictly with PAINT.

I'll take a look at her again tonight, and thanks for answering my thinly veiled plea for help, JB :^)

Picked up the Ambomination the other day (at least - great figure with nice rocky base) and a Mr Sinister. It shows how addictive these are when I end up buying a character I hate!
