Didn't the Alpha Flight character Nemesis have a full face mask?

*************************

And I was just working out of the issue she's in, too, for Northstar.  Duh, why didn't I think of that?  Thanks, Scott!

Now, what do I do with all that extra hair...

I guess I should be glad they are running out of figures I want.

(Actually, there's room for about 30 more, but. . . )

Havok sure stands out in your display, JB.  Shame about that other figure.  Time for you to get busy on more homemade stuff.

The perils of working late while already short on sleep from the night before.  I've been cleaning up the scribe lines on Electra and decided to trim down her bust by craft knife, file and sandpaper instead of waking up the neighborhood with my Dremel.  Where I'd normally take precautions to protect what I wasn't working on, I just went to town...and sanded off her mouth and nose with one of those sanding sponges.  Now I'll have to get another $15 figure just for a head.  :^(

Are there any female characters that wear a full mask where you can't make out the facial features?  Waste not, want not :^)

Her body is looking good; I've repositioned one arm and one leg without breaking either (a first!), but I still need to do the upper leg once I get my hands on a razor saw.  I'm excited about this figure, I hope she turns out OK.  And no, she's not a member of Alpha Flight.

Ooh -- major bummer on the sanding error, Ryan!

Spider-Girl wears a full-face mask -- maybe a black costume variant (not sure if one's ever appeared in print, but it would make for an easy custom).

Alternately, you could try to build-up the facial details yourself using Kneadatite or Sculpey.  If you don't feel like you're up to something like that, I'd be willing to give it a shot for you if you'd like -- e-mail me if you'd like to discuss further.

Thanks, John, but I think Scott hit this one on the head.  I was going to do a Nemesis eventually, I'll just save the head for that.  Appreciate it, though!

Cheers, Ryan!

Have you seen Irish_Legend's Giant-Man custom over on the Superherofigurine.com forums?  He used the Sentinel as the base, and the finished piece is EXCELLENT!  The Sentinel works MUCH better as Giant-Man than it does as a Sentinel, IMO.  Great stuff (not sure if it's cool to post pics of other people's customs in this thread).

I did, and something to think about in the future (if they don't come out with an actual Giant Man figure).  I've been giving thought to using figures from other lines to do larger (Sasquatch) or smaller (Puck) pieces, nothing yet.

Late to the party because of a really time consuming shoot (now finished and am in post), I finally got Quicksilver.  He looks pretty spiffy!

Look closely, and you can see Johnny's arm and leg behind Spider-Man.
