never was a big fan of this version of Mystique.  doesn't seem in tune with her character.  seems too playful...like some sexy little tart that likes to play with guns.  Mystique should appear more dangerous and sultry....not that I was at all a fan of the X-Movies but I at least got the impression that if I got with 10feet of the naked blue chick I was a goner for sure!

Not that there's anything wrong with sexy little tarts that like to play with guns, though, right?

;-)

AT LAST !!!

Galactus has FINALLY landed in France (but it was worth the wait). I would have liked it to be taller, but it is great.

I got the Abomination too, the figurine is great, but the paint job is rated 6/10 (imo), there are no dark shades around the muscles, just plain green. I got the DC Killer Croc figurine at the same time, the paint job is faaaaaaaaar much better (see my post in the DC figurine section).

The Sentinels have arrived in Ireland. So tempting to buy a load of them...

I finally bought GALACTUS yesterday, after 3 shops visited. It seems to be quite a success despite the high price.

Paint Mystique white and get rid of the gun and with a few tweaks she would be the DC/Vertigo version of Death.

So my worst fear came true when I finally received my first mail order figure from DCBS. There was a huge paint drip on Hercules' face!

I was REALLY disappointed. So far my only semi bad experience was with Psylocke who had a really sloppy paint job, that I couldn't see in the box.

I scrapped off the paint blob with a knife and I think I did an ok job repainting (I just wish I was able to match the skin tone a little better)

I hope my Quicksilver arrives in better condition...

David, can you send a pic of the Sentinel next to Galactus ? Because - I don't know if it's due to the angle of your pic - the Sentinel seems to be taller than him. Nice pick up by the way !

My retailler seems to be running out old issue, I fear it's will be hard to find Kurt Wagner, my only Xmen missing character ...

I would have thought the sentinel but Galactus would be the same height except for his helmet which gives him the size advantage.

Thanks for the pic David ! I just regret the Sentinel to be so ... human-like and muscular, it makes me think of a over sized Machine Man.
