…seems to have gone down a storm with the UK collectors.

••

It HAS been a long time since I left old Blighty! I have NO idea what that
means.

Sasquatch is less shaggy around the upper arms, thighs and torso. Also.
based on the picture above the face seems much too "Gorilla on the Loose".
I see something that reminds me of the rubber-raced apes that would chase
the Three Stooges, rather than the distinctive face I gave Sasquatch.

It looks like a character from an old Saturday morning cartoon where it was a barbarian/futuristic mix (for the life of me I can't remember the name of the show).  It doesn't look at all like Sasquatch.

Sasquatch standing around with his arms crossed?   Looking like a cross
between an orangutan and a wet-mop? A definite

Not the same guy, I'm afraid.  From the little I've seen of recent comics, the sculptor caught the nu-look Sasquatch much better than what JB created.

There's your figure right there on the left.

Now that's Sasquatch!

Thank you all, critisism is what what aren wants so that he can get the design right from the OFF.

I am no sculptor but it must be difficult converting a 2D series of images into a single 3D sculpt.  The sketch shown by Ryan highlights (to me anyway) the subtle differences that are needed to tweak the sculpt.

oh and JB  "to go down a storm" means to be well recieved or popular.  similar to "going down a treat". ;-)

cheers

Steve

I agree with Ryan on the look of the sculpt, it looks like the Sasquatch from Vol. 2 that wasn't really Walter.

Steve - how far along is a "concept" sculpt? Is it past the point of no return as far as making changes?

I'd have the feet slimmed down, the excess hair removed from the upper arms and legs, and a complete resculpt on the head, just for starters.

Steve, it would also help if they could provide a photo with a straight-on front shot that gave a good look at the face rather than on an angle.
