I wish his wrecking ball was a little bigger.

••

That's not a wrecking ball, Brian. It's a ball & chain, such as used to be
employed to restrain violent prisoners like Crusher Kreel.

Thunderball, of the Wrecking Crew, totes a wrecking ball (which should be
larger!)

Quick tangent, but one of the few cool things about the Secret Wars series was that Shooter placed the Absorbing Man alongside the Wrecking Crew. Seemed like a natural fit.

I thought the same thing.  Secret Wars was my first real exposure to Absorbing Man...I though he was part of the crew.

Oh my! That Crusher Creel figure looks just like a buddy I used to hang around with about twenty years ago!
Glen. Twins, I swear.
I don't have a photo, but I did this caricaure of him a while back. (13 years ago?)

I'd consider buying it out of nostalgia, If it wasn't so ugly.

My Ultron arrived yesterday -- VERY nice rendition of one of my favorite villains.  Now I'm doubly-inspired to finish my Iron Man.  I'll be taking some pics for posterity of the "naked" figure tonight, just to document the process, then hopefully I'll have a little time left over for some sculpting.  Now, though, off to mow the lawn (just got done giving the girls a bath . . . thankfully, my wife is fixing dinner.  Not enough hours in a day . . .)

Thanks for pointing that out JB.  I thought that the ball and chain used to restrain prisoners was a little smaller.  My quibble no longer exists!

Vulture and Psylocke are being released this Wednesday.  I'll have to track her down, I never ordered her.  I love the Vulture sculpt, I may have a new favorite in a couple weeks.

Those of you searching for some of the earlier releases may be interested to
know Midtown Comics seems to have a whole flock of 'em available again.

LINK

Search for "figurine".

Any idea what Midtown typically charges for shipping for a single figure?

The next 5.  Thanks to Steve Reaper and his site once more.

Yes.  Probably.  Maybe.  Probably not.  Maybe if I can mod him into something better.
