Tired, stayed up late to put in a little work since it's been several weeks.  I love taking photos of these repaints, I get a good look at all my trouble spots.  I'm not sure I love the darker skin tone I gave Jennifer, I'm considering lightening it up quite a bit.  The 4 is a little crooked, dang it.  I have a lot of white lines to clean up, I just finished putting a light gray wash in some of the crevices.

I highlighted the black uniform with a black/dk blue.  It's not showing too well in the photos, but the effect is nice.  Jen's face looks like mud right now, it's definitely getting more highlights.  I tried for a more wild hairstyle like she wore in FF, with bits going this way and that.  For the most part, it looks like a big lump of clay :^)

It occurs to me that Quicksilver presents the potential for another
conversion…

*******

Is Namor not on the list?

That seems like a major oversight.

There is a Namor -- and it's a good one -- but he's in the "sharkskin" suit.
I bought it, but I prefer the trunks.

I may have to turn Quicksilver into a Northstar, though Pietro might be a bit bulky for that.

OK....now that made me laugh out loud. And I'm at work....hard to explain why your laughing like a fool to people who have no idea who Galactus is.

Sorry to steal your idea, JB.  I just had to have a Heather Hudson with the High River shirt on, so I'll be going digital.  I filled in her bust so she doesn't have such a form fitting top on (with two distantly separated breasts), I'm also going with the cutoff's she wore in AF 1. I'm tempted to add a little more material to the lower part of her shirt so it's not skin-tight either.  Thanks again for the idea!

Since my daughter and I were building a volcano for her science class this weekend, I stayed in my Man Space as much as possible and got some painting done.  I stripped the paint from Mr. Fantastic and have started on the black & white uniform scheme, and slaughtered a few Heroclix figures to build Reed a little something to hold on to (and another thanks to JB for the inspiration).

Hair's not quite right for Northstar. I wouldn't worry about the build, tho.
The figure is too bulky for Quicksilver, too!

Not that that will stop me getting one!

Great idea on the Namor ... perfect pose

Re-Animated over on Steve's forum did a fantastic repaint/resculpt of Namor from the original sharkskin figurine (green trunks & all) :)
