I mentioned previously, too, that Angel might make
a good Guardian/Vindicator conversion, albeit with a lot more work on

Take a good look at the Captain Britain figure behind your Havoc, JB -- you can easily use an X-Acto knife to trim off the boot/glove details. Fill in the Union Jack costume lines with a little putty and then sand everything smooth, and you've got an ideal base for Guardian/Vindicator . . . and the helmet/headgear is almost correct as-is.
Just my $0.02.

I had suggested Captain Britain for a Guardian conversion, until mine
arrived. He is, to scale, about six inches too short.

Could someone give me some info about ordering figures through Midtown Comics? Just wondering how/when you get notified when a figure goes out. (this question is me seeing everyone getting the Galactus fig, and me not being patient)!

William, I usually (tho not every time) get an email from Midtown telling me an order has shipped.I ordered Galactus, too, and it is currently listed as backordered. First time that's happened with them.

Just finished Devil Dinosaur and all I could think was: I'd LOVE a Devil Dinosaur figurine. It'd have to a Special though.

Here are my latest acquisitions:
I know how you feel William, it's funny looking back on page 13 where I was 'just' going to get the Daredevil related figures.

Ordered up a couple (2) of Silver Surfers today, for conversion purposes.
Decided one is going to become Guardian.
Someone remind me -- I painted Havok over iceman's existing paint job,
but I'm going to want to strip the Surfer before I try building up Mac's
helmet. What's the best way to get the paint off?

Acetone, a toothbrush and some toothpicks did a quick and easy job on She-Hulk, just don't get any on the base. I filled up a metal can with the acetone and dangled her upside down in it up to her shins/ankles. I let her rest in it for a while with bamboo skewers across the can keeping her from dropping in all the way, but the paint started peeling off as soon as she went in.
