Does this finish the original Justice League, in commissions?

Nice. It's always good to see a solo commission of a character who hasn't been done before.

Probably the best Martian Manhunter drawing I've ever seen. I've always
thought him a lame looking character-- not so with this piece.

Stiers looked pretty gravitationally-enhanced a.k.a. chunkified as I recall.
My favourite version of the Manhunter shall always be ol' Marcus Dixon from Alias, Carl Lumbly who voiced the character for Justice League/Justice League Unlimited.
Great rendition of him there BTW JB...

Here he is, the Martian Manhunter as portrayed by David Ogden Stiers in the aborted Justice League pilot. Somehow I think JB's drawing is just a wee bit closer to the character.

you know what is so freaky about JB posting new commissions for everyone to see?
seeing them for the first time colored by Gerry in the coloring section, before you see them in JBs post... that is freaky...
nice piece JB... I understand that MMH is phazing thru a wall in this shot, right?

Wow. That picture of Stiers looks frightening (but not in a good way). Thanks for posting it, Peter. Is that a beard I see?
You know, I think that's how you can tell someone thinks they're slumming when they do comic-book adaptations for film or tv. They refuse to shave.

Nice one, I really love J'onn J'onnz he's one of the coolest characters DC has, I think he's a bit underated as well.
The pose reminds me of an old GL by Neal Adams.
