Plastic Man is a character that begs for color.  Thanks JB.

Ha! A very happy commission! Much like the recent Jay Garrick commission, this one just looks fun!

Would you have any interest in doing a Plasticman project (series or oneshot) if it was offered?

Nice.  If I were writing comics, I'd have to stay far away from Plastic Man.  He is a character that I can honestly say that I have never gotten.  I just don't "get" Plastic Man. I can enjoy him in limited spots, but I'd never be able to do so with any kind of regularity.  It would probably take JB doing PM to make me like the character.  I never cared much for Mr. Miracle until JB handled him (and a bunch of other characters that few other creators "got.").

Beautiful piece, JB. I really like seeing you take on characters you're not
entirely connected with like this...

I just don't "get" Plastic Man.

You're not alone. Plasticman is Paul Kupperberg's favortie character, and he and I have often discussed how various writers and artists have handled him. We've agreed that it's tricky to get the right take, since, bizarre as he is, "Plas" is really the center of normalcy in his world. It's everything else that's crazy.
