...from the time I sent my official request to Jim Warden to the completion of the commission was a total of 16 days.

I should mention, tho, that there were others on the list "ahead" of Rick. Today I just felt like doing a full-pager instead of a couple of single figures.

So he lucked out!

Cool, I just saw Joe today and he told me this was his request. I guess you saw this after you left the show, Joe?

Dave,

Yep!  Nice surprise when I got home.  I wasn't expecting it this soon.

Consarnit!  Well, I'll settle for a screen grab of that Nestor Redondo piece.

Speaking of such, I always thought a great retcon to the Swamp Thing's origin would be to show that the fire which consumed Alec Holland's body and resulted in his swampy origin was actually ignited by Man-Thing's presence and one of his spontaneous recognitions (and combustions) of fear.

 QUOTE:
The Bowen statue reminds me of the Man-Thing's Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe entry, though I don't recall offhand who drew that.

'Twas Bret Blevins.

JB, you asked if the Bowen Designs Man-Thing statue was still available.
Tales of Wonder still has it, and at a great price.

I would love to get that one myself (VERY nice recreation of the shambling
figure drawing cited above), along with their Dr. Strange and Iron Fist
statues. But I have too many already! No place to put 'em.
