Agreed, and what really scares me (at least on some level) is that I actually remembered the whole Kymaera explanation without having to look it up.

I don't know if there was some mistake in it. I do own that issue of NAMOR, and I love the coloring in it. Especially in the last pages where it gets bizarre.

As for Namorita, it's kitsch to darken characters. But then again bands like MCR, DM and Marylin Manson are still in business... So cashing in on teen angst works!

"They write songs that depress teenagers -- like
that's hard!"

Problem with pandering to "teenage angst" is that
those angst-ridden teenagers will get bored mighty
fast if that's ALL you feed 'em.

Would anyone be up for a 'GENERATIONS' Reading
Club after Namor ends?

***

That would be fun --- with the chapters in
chronological order?
*****

I vote for this!

But are we going by "time passed" based chronological order, or "Superman time" chronological order.  Basically, will we start with the Old West issue of GenIII?

Skip G3 in the context of this exercise. It's not "in
continuity" (except for the Batman and Robin
flashback).

This issue is one of your finest JB. Excellent work and emotionally powerful.

I understand what you mean by not being in context, but I do think that the Old West issue of G3 was fantastic.  I hope we can do it another time.  These exercises are just as much fun as commntary on a DVD.

Indeed. Most diets do very well with at the very least some variation in in them.

I'd say it's one better, Joe. How often can you pose questions to be answered from your DVD commentary? While the latter (and other DVD extras) are indeed fun to have, it sure as heck doesn't beat being able to have a Q&A with the people involved... especially not when it's as relaxed and casual as in here.
