While there is no doubt that Steve Rogers will one day be back as Captain America, his death and the writers' shoddy treatment of Cap and the other heroes throughout Civil War have finally convinced me that it is time to give up on Marvel Comics.  And even though Captain America will one day be back, I won't be unless or until Joe Quesada and his crew are gone.  They have no respect for the Superhero Genre and continue to piss on it because doing so is hip, kewl and tells a good story.

Thanks, Joe!  Next week, for the first time in 29 years, I will not be buying any Marvel Comics. 

Look, this is all crap; I agree, but now that M***** has killed Cap, if it is Cap (and it seems that it is) they should keep Cap dead, at least as long as Quesada is there (or until agents Qusada and Alonso arrest M***** for what they have done).

And if you do not know, Millar said they thought about killing Cap or having someone else be Cap in the Ultimates.  This was in the DVD interview on the Ultimate Avengers DVD.  So I guess Q and the Gang are not too concerned about Steve Rogers being Captain America.  Too bad.

As for Brubaker, I enjoyed his run until it was revealed that Bucky was the Winter Soldier.  I was not impressed then, and I am not impressed by this.  I will not read it.

Stern, DeMatteis, Gruenwald and Waid all were better.

In case I missed the point, and maybe I did as my post no longer makes sense to me, I hate that they did this.  This was it for me.  I do not understand how the real people in charge would take any increase in sales as ok, instead of finding someone who can increase sales without destroying everything they have.

This is not "kewl."  This is stupid.  I cannot support this.

Captain America is Steve Rogers.  Nomad and USAgent have already been done.  Please find someone who can write new and exciting Captian America stories, not bad old ones.
