I equate "really big change in comic that gets everyone going nuts about
how this is going to ruin the character forever and I can't believe they did
that and death to the company" with "ditto."
I was around when Steve was fired and everyone went nuts. People went
crazy about how this is what happens when a corporation is in control of
a comic and not individuals, not like how Stan and Jack and Steve and
everyone else were in charge.
I was around when Superman died and people went crazy.
("Yeah" I said "he'll get better somehow."
"No, they've really killed him! I saw it on the news!!")
We've seen this all before. We'll see it again.
It's part of the fun of reading serialized story-telling.
"Wow, I can't believe they did that!"
