I kinda figured it was Wayne.

He's the only one around here who really has that kind of money.

This is cool on a whole new level.

Again, thhanks for all the kind words and support. As soon as John does
some layouts or the cover or whatever, we can post a sneak peek for you
guys. But for those who asked it's an old-school, hopefully fun, super-hero
story. Stay tuned.

best,

WO

I'm guessing anal sex won't be featured then. ;)

Dear Wayne,

It is with heavy heart that
I write this letter to you.

For you have commissioned
JB to do something that I have failed
to get going as a collective in this forum.

I hate you, you don't respect my authoritay and
Victory to the confederacy!!

George

p.s. Can I get your full name and address to send my cheque for the signed first printing copy by you and JB?

edit: go easy on the price, eh... I'm just a Canadian.

I'm in on your collective - keep me posted if you get any other interest.

"Well, it's no commission drought for me but it is definitely a dream come true. Thanks, JB, for agreeing to do it.

And it's not fanfic, it's my own characters and I hope to self-publish it somewhere down the line. So, I have no problem with showing some sneak peeks but not the whole book."

I'll be looking forward to the sneak peeks and hope you'll let us know how to get one of those self-published copies once you get that far. Here's one li'l mad Swede who'll be interested for sure.

O and congrats, Wayne!

"Thanks for the all the kind words and well-wishes, guys. But, geez, way to put the pressure on. I know the pencils will be great, I just hope the writing lives up to them..........and to all your expectations."

We'll cut you some slack, Wayne... ;)
But I also think the fact that JB opted to accept the commission knowing (I assume) of your intent to selfpublish the venture should be seen as a sort of seal of approval as well.

Curious and looking forward to see this, as already stated.
Hope it helps you get into the game (it sure sounds like quite a way to make an entrance on the scene).

Looks like the "drought" will be shorter than anticipated. I'll be wrapping up the breakdowns for issue 1 probably no later than Monday, so I should be able to post a few other comission pieces thru the rest of the week, and, basically, untill the pages get scripted and lettered and back to me to ink.
