If memory serves, Wayne also has many of my favorite JB commission pieces, so Wayne is officially invited to my house.

If he doesn't mind slumming.

Michael said "Really looking forward to even some sneak peeks. Congrats
Wayne. I hope that even if we cannot see the final project I hope that you
can offer some insight to the characters that will be presented."

Oh, man, I hope what I posted didn't come off sounding mean or selfish. I
just meant that I'd like to publish the story as soon as I can. Once it's
published I have absolutely no problem with John posting all the designs,
breakdowns, finished pages, whatever in the gallery. I just don't want all of
it out there before I publish.

Wayne, I'm happy for you.  I hope your idea sells and when it does--which I feel it will-- please let me know so I can put this book, your book, on my pull list.  Congrats, sir.

You didn't sound selfish at all Wayne. I understand exactly what you meant and where you are coming from.  I was just stating that I am looking forward to anything that can be given out to the people here. I wouldn't want to give out too much also when it comes to characters or plot. Never know who could try to use them for themselves. One needs to be careful. I am excited for you and wish you well. I have nothing to do with this and I am excited.

Wayne, any insight into what type of book this will be? Superheroes? A teaser blurb? I'm dying here, this sounds like the coolest thing ever!

This is one of the coolest things I've read on the internet for quite a while! :). Yeah and Mr.Osborne, Ill buy a copy whenever you publish your story.

But would like to hear a bit more of what type of story it is.

I'm hoping this is a fill-in issue of Magnitude, the book that JB did the cover for issue #1.  Seems like it would be a logical fit -- writer pays JB a commission fee and retains publishing rights as part of the contract, then recoups at least part (or all, or -- better yet -- all plus a profit) on the sales of the issue on the newsstand.

Fingers crossed . . .

Congrats Wayne!!! It's a definite red letter day for you!! I remember chatting with you about this a while back, I wish you nothing but best on your project, I hope it's sooo wildly successful. Maybe there'll be an issue number 2 and then 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 etc.....

Can anyone think of a more spectacular way for a new writer to make his debut?

Besides being pals with Joe Q, that is?
