What a challenge?  This is the kind of stuff I enjoy reading here on the JBF.  I'm looking forward to getting a glimps of this project.  This appears to be a fun project to do than just being...  work.

Now I wonder when I'm gonna get my commission.

BTW, thanks for accepting my request, JB.

As many times as just such a commission has been posited by JB, it was still very exciting to hear that someone has finally taken the plunge.

Congratulations, to the lucky board member and a big thanks to JB for doing something like this.

I also hope that we will get to see scans of this project when it is completed.

That is pretty cool.
I am sure every last one of us is jealous!
Hopefully the fine person getting the commission lets JB post the pages when it is done so we can all read a JB/Forum member original!
Now I gotta go buy me some lotto tickets!

Btw, just out of curiousity and for the sake of
argument, JB, would you consider it if somebody
would commission, say a 4-8 pages comic (with
some stated character/s), written and drawn by
yourself. I totally understand that the price would
jump up a notch or two given that you'd have to come
up with a story, but would you consider such a
commission at all, or are they off limits?

****

Very little short of out and out pornography is off
limits.

As to the delay this will cause in some of the other commissions getting done --- well, sorry about that. But you can all survive a month or so, I am sure!

Hehe..this is great.  Many are the times I've wondered about such a thing, even going so far as to ask a few of my favourite creators if they'd be up for this.  I would only be up for a 4-6 page story, but just the thought of having this done is awesome.
