Guys,

I have a question about ordering straight from Bowens Website,

Do you get the statues any quicker and are they of a lower number than if you ordered from lets say DCBS or  your LCS ??

Anyone have experience in this?

I'm asking because I order the THOR statue through Bowens website the day it showed up on their  site back in December .

and even after getting the membership discount,  I found I can get it cheaper by ordering it just like my comics through DCBS.

Do the people who order from Bowens website get the first ones out or lower #s  or the ones that sometimes have Bowen doodles on the bottom of the statue??

I'll be going to bed soon so I'll check back tommorrow for any help you guys have,  thanks!!

My experience working at a comic shop is that the way they are shipped
out is totally random. I've had a customer order a statue over a year after
it has initially shipped and get the #1 of a numbered statue. I've pre-
ordered a statue and have it come with a number towards the very end of
the line.

Not sure if the ones directly from the Bowen shop generally get lower
numbers, though.

Gary,

Thanks for the info and help...; as of last night, I have now ordered THOR from both websites and now I either buy from both and sell one on ebay or try to cancel the bowen one. Decisions... decisions.... That Thor statue sure captures the look from the comics though, had to spring for that one for sure..

Reminds me quite a bit of how Ron Garney draws Captain America:

I like it. It looks heroic, as Cap should.
