Playing catch up:
Silver Age Hawkman - Hawkman is one of the few GA characters that I haven't read much of.
JSA - I've always preferred the JSA over the JLA for some reason.
JB - A tough call. JB got me to buy Superman regularly. I didn't think anyone could ever do that.
Neal Adams - Easy one. He changed how I looked at comics.

Not to take anything away from Neal Adams (who designed the Batman model Aparo worked from), but Aparo's version is my Batman.

Aparo for me too. His Batman is my Batman, even though it's Neal's. I became an Aparo fan with Brave and the Bold #200. This great issue also made me a Dave Gibbons fan and a Mike W. Barr fan. I was 12 and absolutely loving my newly discovered, very own "Golden Age" of comics.

Year One, since I consider it a part of Batman's life, while DKR is just a possible future. If I met someone totally unfamiliar with Batman comics, Year One would be on the list of the stories I would suggest to make them familiar with the character. I feel that DKR, while just as powerful a piece of storytelling, is something better appreciated by seasoned Batman fans. So, for the sake of accesibility, I vote for Year One.
