The innovative manner in which Zatanna's spells are cast is interesting.  However, they are a bit time consuming to read.  I like the Stan Lee alliterations for Strange's spells the best !  Other writers of Strange have done a good job carrying on this traditon.  Finally, a cross-over series teaming up Zatanna and Strange would be a great book !  In the hands of the proper writer/artist combo, they would make an attractive and mystically powerful couple !

BTW: Zatanna might even give Clea a run for her money in more ways than one !

I disagree, respectfully !  Zatanna's costume looks nice on her.  Or she looks good in it, whichever you prefer.  However, her outfit conveys (in my mind) more of the stage show/sleight of hand performer.  Whereas Strange's costume has all the elements of mysticism: eye of agamotto, cape (with horns) of levitation, loose fitting clothing appropriate for meditation and symbolic of his mystical order.  I am not in anyway minimizing Zatanna's prowess in the magic arts.  I just think her outfit doesn't communicate very well what she's capable of.  By contrast, when thinking of female mystic mages, the costumes of Clea and Umar are far superior.  And I think those ladies are "better looking" than Zatanna !
