I think the current Tony's armor is all internal nanotech, isn't it?  Now THAT'S pretty hard to top.  But Guardian wins if you compare the breifcase versus something that could be worn under street clothing.

Of course, Guardian's original appearance had the advantage of being the villain (his coolest trick was essentially a way of escaping - hardly something you could do as a hero), and to make him a viable foe for Wolverine he needed an electromagnetic force field to keep him from being torn to shreds.  Back in the day Iron Man's armor was literal armor, and it got shredded in combat routinely.

And that's why Guardian's is cooler.  Sorry, IM fans.  No shame in second place!  Well, third if you include Dr. Doom...

Wednesday 11/19 toss-up situation/thingy: arrange a trade between the Marvel and DC universes (e.g. give DC Spider-Man and take Firestorm for Marvel).

Here's a villain trade - Lex Luthor goes to Marvel and becomes the arch-enemy of the Fantastic Four, and Dr. Doom goes to DC to pit his sorcery/science and ego against Superman.  Luthor could be a contmeporary of Reed Richards in college, and Victor Von Doom could be a foreign amabassador assigned in Metropolis.

I'd trade Daredevil, Power Man, and Iron Fist for The Doom Patrol.
