Corn on the cob is by far superior.  I remember back when my ol' Pappy grew sweet corn.  Thirty feet out of our back door was one of the fields, and when the corn was ready Mom would send me out for it and that would be dinner.  Then Dad switched to feed corn and that was the end of that.  Cows wouldn't be so miserable if we fed them sweet corn, I reckon.
