This was a tough one for me, at first, but then I realized that there is
USUALLY just one Avengers team (comic). Compared to however many X-
men teams.

1st instict was Cap, but I'm going to go with Cyclops. Reason being I've enjoyed Avengers without Captain America, but have never enjoyed X-men without Cyclops.

Captain America, only because of how Cyclops has been treated. Idealistically it should probably be Cyclops.
