Oh, JLI and JLE were both awesome. Giffen/DeMatteis goodness on both books.

I guess I'd go with JLI/JLA, just because I prefered Kevin Maguire's art to Bart Sears'. But JLE had its moments --  Captain Atom was great as the straight-laced leader trying to hold this team together. You had some established Justice Leaguers like the Flash and Power Girl as well as some new blood like Crimson Fox and Rocket Red.

Man, I miss those books!

Justice League International/America it was fun at times, and drama but I missed the big powerhouses not being on the team.

See, I think that was part of the appeal for me. The JLI/JLE era largely focused on characters who didn't have their own book at the time. You could always get your fill of Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman/etc. in their own titles, but the Justice League books were the place where lesser-known characters could have their turn in the spotlight.

(Having said that, I always wanted to see Wonder Woman join the team, just to see her interactions with Guy Gardner. Methinks those two would've gotten along about as well as gasoline and matches.)
