But think of all the Story Potential of having him dead!!

"Mr. Castle, thank you for coming in.  We realize you have places to be, so let's just get right to the interview... First question: Do you know what MySpace is?"

Alive.

Alive!

My theory is that the Red Skull/Alexsander Lukin used the Cosmic Cube to pull Cap's mind out of his body right before they had him killed and implant it in someone else, possibly one of the villains in the Negative Zone prison.  This way the world would think him dead but he would really be imprisoned and probably unable to communicate with anyone, depending on what type of power dampers he may be under.  I also think that the readers will be let in on the secret before the Marvel Universe in general.

Dead!

Cause instead of the tough Nazi ass-kicking Captain America that I knew in loved the current incarnation has been reduced to a crying anti-government protester wuss who would be more at home hanging with Jane Fonda than General Patton.

Brian, I think that was just Ms Marvel talkingout her ass to try to get Spider-Woman to come in.  It certainly seems that way from what Marvel has to say.

Wade, you're a conservative.  Shouldn't you applaud someone who is anti-government? (!)

Anti- Big government (nanny state), Yes.  Anti- our institution of government and its laws,  No.

The old the government can do no wrong (unless it's helping out citizens) theory.

No problem.  Only 5 more hours and I am outta here.  Rented Patton with George C. Scott.  Gonna start watching that soon.  That will kill about 3 hours of the night shift.
