My favorite Watchmen character is the second Silk Spectre.  "I'm used to going out at three in the morning and doing something stupid."

Michael, Ryan - I think it's a great read.  It's one of the last stories I'd recommend to a first-time comics reader, but if you're part of comics fandom you can put it in perspective.
