Detective Comics, then.

("Then" being during the 60s & 70s when I bought the title very regularly. It always seemed better than the main title.)

Detective, then. Especially in the olden days when Martian Manhunter (my guilty pleasure favorite) was the back-up, only to replaced by Infantino's Elongated Man, which was just a pleasure.

It's a toss-up. Both books have had plenty of great stories over the years.

If by "Then," you mean the 1970s - which gave us the O'Neil/Adams and Englehart/Rogers runs, along with so many other great Batman stories - then definitely "Then"!

If you mean the goofy Batman stories of the 1960s, I'll go with "Now"!
