While I appreciate Simonson's style. I am more familiar with Minola's work,
so I am going with him.

I am off today for my birthday, but I am still up.  My wife and I finally went to see The Dark Knight yesterday (she loved it), so I have to ask.

TODAY'S TOSS-UP (7/28):

Jack Nicholson's Joker or Heath Ledger's Joker?

Ledger's Joker.

Jack Nicholson's was just Jack, he had reach the point that John Wayne had in that it was him in all the parts he played.  For this reason, Ledger was different.

7/26: Caesar

7/27: Walt Simonson

7/28: Have to abstain because I haven't seen Dark Knight yet....I know I suck.

Happy birthday Ted! Hope you have a great and enjoyable day. It's nice that your birthday falls during the summer. I know a principal's job is never done, but I'm sure it's much easier to take a day off in late July than it would be during the school year.

Catching up...

- Garden over Caesar. Preferably with ranch dressing and lots of tomatoes.

- Walt Simonson over Mike Mignola. Simonson's Thor run is one of my all-time favorite runs on any book.

- Heath Ledger's Joker by a long shot. I liked Nicholson's performance in Batman, but Ledger absolutely raises the bar for all movie super-villains in The Dark Knight. The Oscar buzz is well-deserved, in my opinion.
