John Byrne.

Although we all know that Adams is a pretty good artist too. For me JB tells the stories like no one.

Neal Adams by a hair. (Reason being his run on X-Men has ranked among my favorites since day one).

Neal Adams did for the Comic Book World, what James Dean did for acting.

He brought a whole new dimension into a two-dimensional world.

I do not think we would have the John Byrne of the 70's or 80's or even of today had there not been a Neal Adams.  Our generous forum benefactor has layed his accolades upon Neal time and time again.

It is not a fair comparison.  Just like you could not compare Jack Kirby.
