Aparo's for me he is THE Batman artist. But Perez draws a damn good Batman too.

APARO, not even close!  Aparo defines an era of Batman's look as far as I'm concerned.

  • Brave and the Bold (both old and new)
  • Aparo (For me, he is the ultimate Batman artist.)

I love Perez and I consider his overall body of work to be better than Aparo's.

But as far as Batman goes, Aparo is the man. I'd personally rank Aparo as the second-greatest Batman artist ever behind only Neal Adams and there's no doubt that Aparo defined Batman's look for an entire generation.

I'm really hurt that our newest, elected official has thus far refused to create a thread letting us all know of his victory.

Jim Aparo is the Curt Swan of Batman for me.  The only artist I would pick above Jim Aparo for Batman would be Neal Adams. He draws Batman lean like a runner or track star.
