Easy question. Superman all the way. Thor really has only been interesting to me when Walt Simonson was on the book, but Superman has had many periods of greatness.

Plus, it's hard to improve on a classic. Superman is as much a part of Americana as Coca-Cola and Elvis.

Superman - while never a favorite solo character, i've liked him as a member of the JLA (or JSA) - never cared for Thor that much alone and even less with the Avengers
