Catching up....

- Black Canary over Mockingbird. I like both characters, but I can name more good stories with ol' Dinah. Loved her in Birds of Prey.

FYI: For you fans of the Smallville TV show, Black Canary will appear on this Thursday's all-new episode.

- Zatanna over Scarlet Witch. Pretty easy call here. I like Zatanna's real magic over the Scarlet Witch's mutant powers, and she seems to be a more fun character. Plus, I've always felt Zatanna has one of the best costumes in all of comics.

- Power Girl over Supergirl (any version). I don't have a problem with bombshell characters - I just have a problem with all female characters being portrayed as sexpots, even the ones who traditionally have been classy and straight-laced. However, Power Girl has consistently played the bombshell role from the beginning and does it well.

- Superman over Batman. Ted, I think you've asked that one before! :)
