Jessica Drew. She never did much for me as a kid, but I recently read the Essential Spider-Woman and was really impressed - at least for the first 20 issues or so.
The Marv Wolfman-written stories are full of magic and no small amount of horror. They're pretty creepy (in a good way). When Mark Gruenwald took over, he made the title a much more traditional superhero comic, but it still worked. And I like Carmine Infantino's work more than a lot of folks.
Spider-Woman went downhill pretty quick when she moved from Los Angeles to San Francisco and became a private investigator. But those first couple of runs are really good, in my opinion.
