"Sword of the Atom" is one of my favorite mini-series.  From the domestic tension at the outset to the promise and cost of real adventure afterwards... That series simply rocked.

Sword of the Atom was one of my favorites, too.  The Gil Kane art was awesome!  Speaking of Kane and the Atom, here is one of the few silver age comics I kept when I sold my silver age collection.  It represents my pick...

It is in great shape too.  I would say VF with nice color.  I have had it for over 20 years.  I think I paid $40.00 for it it back in 1986.

P.S.  I used to own the first Ant-Man too (and the first Wasp).

I actually don't understand the question. Are we choosing between Falcon and Angel? (for the right to go head-to-head with Hawkman? Or maybe it should be a round robin ...pun intended) Did they switch names at some point?

It means I chose to ask you to choose between Hawkman and the Falcon instead of Hawkman and the Angel, who has been previously established as Hawkman's counterpart in the Amalgam Universe (sort of).

The Falcon.  I am not sure of the mess of Hawkman.  Always dull to me.

Amalgam Universe

Never heard of such a thing. But thanks for clearing that up. I go with Hawkman because there's more meat on the bone there. Long, complicated history. Recently read a Hawkman TPB (his fourth incarnation, I think) by Johns and Morales, which I dug. He's sort of an unrepentant alpha male.
