Correct me if I'm wrong, but Black Vulcan only ever appeared in animated shows, right? Black Lightning appeared in countless comic stories over time. Because of this, I was able to develop more of an attachment to the character. So I guess I'd go for Black Lightning.

I'm with Robbie - I can't remember Black Vulcan ever appearing in the comics, just cartoons. For that reason, It's Black Lightning by a landslide for me.
