Last night, I started reading the Shazam! The Monster Society of Evil HC, so I figured I would ask this two-part question.

TODAY'S TOSS-UP (11/5):

Who's Captain Marvel do you prefer?

Jerry Ordway's or Jeff Smith's?

AND

Which graphic novel did you prefer?

Ordway's Power of Shazam or Smith's Monster Society of Evil?

Wow, I thought yesterday's question would get more responses.

TODAY'S TOSS-UP (11/6):

DC's Showcase series or Marvel's Essentials?

This too broad a question, it depends on the subject matter.

Essentials - I was a Marvel child.  I'm fully aware that I probably missed a ton of great DC comics as a result, but I'm not a child anymore (except when reading the comics I grew up on).
