Deadpool or Cable?? Aghgh! Neither, they shoulda stayed in the 90's! Whenever I see Cable I see Liefeld art and that doesn't impress me. Sorry.

Answer to yesterdays: I always thought Art Adams' Longshot was pretty cool!Interesting power too.

This run of questions all deal with the time I gave up on the X-men universe

Going back a couple of days, I'll go with Dazzler over Longshot. I actually liked the idea of bringing Dazzler into the X-Men, as it seemed to be a return to the team's founding principle of helping mutants understand their powers and cope with the world around them.

On the other hand, I couldn't stand Longshot. The whole Mojoworld stuff really turned me off to the X-Men. It seemed like the book morphed from a superhero comic into a weird sci-fi series around that time.

And wasn't Shatterstar yet another of those 1990s characters with an accelerated healing factor? Ugh.

Bruce Buchanan, come on down!  You are my favorite person of the day.

Let's not forget how Longshot joined the X-Men:  Mojo was watching them in the Danger Room and pushed a button.  Pow, Longshot.

And Spiral joined the Brotherhood of Freedom Force Evil Mutants?!?  And what was the deal with Spiral and Rachel?  And notice how quickly Rogue and Spiral became hated enemies?  Didn't that seem a tad forced?  And - are ANY OF THESE GUYS EVEN MUTANTS?

If memory serves, Shatterstar is the future son of Longshot and Dazzler, come to our time to steal fighting techniques from Frank Miller.

Thank you, Kevin, Now I know that I've chose very well: Longshot!!! ;-)

Cable or Deadpool?

I hate Rob Liefeld, so I will throw the dice (odd = Cable and even = Deadpool) even.... Deadpool

Deadpool.  Cable is just a reminder of how jacked up continuity is in the X-verse.
