Wow, so many Jean fans.  I find her a bit one-dimensional (aside from the Dark Phoenix stuff of course!).  I say Storm- constantly wishing she could go back and be revered as a goddess again, knowing all too well that she's not one, and having a significant limitation in the claustrophobia.

Nightcrawler! He was perhaps my favorite X-Man.

He had the hardest time fitting in to normal society, but he rarely let that bother him and did his best to enjoy life. In fact, it could be argued that he was the most well-adjusted, most normal of all of the X-Men.

I also liked that he was portrayed as a man of faith (not that I want every character to be religious, but religion is a part of society and it was nice to see that reflected in comics.)

Nightcrawler, but I prefer when he's portrayed as a bit of swashbuckler, as opposed to the Holy-Roller, Priest-in-Training of the last few years.
