Either way would be great, but I loved the JB/Stern run on Captain America from the early 1980s. But that run was too short - I'd love to see more Captain America stories from these two greats.

I have to say I'd usually say Stern/Byrne, but on CAP I think just JB. Then Stern/Byrne team on something I haven't seen before, like MACHINE MAN or MAN-THING or HAWKMAN or THE FORGOTTEN HEROES.

TODAY'S TOSS-UP (9/27):

Which artist would you rather see return to Iron Man, Bob Layton or John Romita Jr.?

You cannot pick both!

Bob Layton, because he's so closely associated with the character.

JR Jr., on the other hand, has made his mark on so many other books (Amazing Spider-Man, Uncanny X-Men, etc.) It's not like Iron Man is one of his signature characters.

I'd love to see Layton and David Michelinie reform their long-running partnership on Iron Man. Does anyone know what Layton is doing these days?
