I'm a fan of both, but I prefer the Perez Wonder Woman. He made the mythological elements central to the character, much like Simonson did with Thor. In both cases, it worked spectacularly.
The problem with the Silver Age Wonder Woman was a lack of consistency. The character seemingly took a dramatic shift every year or two - she worked for the United Nations, she went to NASA, she lost her powers, etc. At one point, the book was set during World War II for no apparent reason.
There were some good Wonder Woman stories during the '60s and '70s, but all of the abrupt shifts made it kind of frustrating to be a fan.
