I confess that I've never read any of the old Marvel monster stuff. Is it worth picking up in Essential form?

Sneaky. Too much overall quality not to vote TOD here, but WBN had some nice arcs. Don Perlin's art though needed a WAY better inker or something...but he got the story across.

If Gil Kane had stayed on as the regular penciller, we might be looking at one of THE classics of the 1970s
