TODAY'S TOSS-UP (1/22):

Inspired by JB's Legends

Superman or the original Captain Marvel (Shazam!)

Captain Marvel unless he is in the closet and plans to come out soon, then I choose Super-man.

Well, I just happen to be re-reading Legends and the recent Captain Marvel
thread has given me pause to think about the Big Red Cheese lately...

So, if I was in charge of things, and I could take the Cap away from DC,
where he will always live in the shadow of Kal-El, and put him in the classic
Marvel of the 70s and 80s (just imagine him showing up in FF 250 and
facing off with Gladiator....) I'd pick Captain Marvel.

If he has to stay in DC (and I'm not Gawd of the comicbook universes) then
it's Superman.

Besides, Capt Marvel is just a kid in a man's body.  Looking at that sexually is kind of weird.

Superman.

And why the hell should a fictional character's sexuality matter? Or anyone's?
