Ranking:

This is almost impossible. Lee/Kirby's FF kills anything else ever produced.

But in terms of innovation, Spider-Man is one of the most original super-heroes ever created. Just based on the idea, which was Lee's genius boiled just right.

But Superman is the greatest superhero ever, period, the most pure example of an adventure hero relatable to anyone. Instantly accessible and brilliantly designed.

I'll feel bad for saying it, but once I discovered the Shadow, Batman will always come off as a superhero version of that great character. I can enjoy him and really dig on him, but never find him as original as these others.

Chad, I've always thought so myself. Zorro as well.

Wow, shocked by the clean sweep of Galactus! Seems like today's toss-up
may be too easy. So...

That's a Sophie's Choice list there.  Because it is the more unfettered and the least explored, I am going to acknowledge the awesome potential of DU. at the top.

  1. Danger Unlimited
  2. Namor
  3. Doom Patrol
  4. Blood of the Demon

I enjoyed all four of these, BTW.
