I read Identity Crisis, but not Tornado's Path.
Lots of hype. Storytelling takes second seat to graphic "in your face" events.
If they had toned it down, made it a little more subtle...maybe it would have
been better?

Actually it was the ending of Identity Crisis that had me hating it. I was going along with all the dark stuff just because I thought it would have a nice reveal to wrap it all up and put the graphic stuff in perspective. Then the murderer was announced and I realized I wasted my time with the series. However, the Rags Morales artwork was top notch.

I MOSTLY like the new JLA, but I wish he would speed things up a notch.
I have not read Identity Crisis.

I tend to like Ed Benes better, but haven't read Tornado's Path.

Benes again. Deodato has moments of brilliance, but a lot of times his art
can have a sloppy feel to it. A great cover artist, but not so great a
sequential artist.
