Kirby. Weirdly I've more affection for JB and Kirby on other stuff besides FF, as I enjoyed both of their versions of Captain America more, BLOOD OF THE DEMON, THE DEMON, and so on. Strange how they've mirrored one another over the years, except for a Superman run. John Buscema and Jack Kirby should both have done some extended Superman.

Hmm, it's a tough choice but...I would pick...
Byrne's Fantastic Four.
I liked Kirby's FF, but it wasn't my favorite piece of his work. On the other hand, I couldn't imagine a world without John Byrne's Fantastic Four.

Gotta go with JB... who had Jack Kirby for inspiration. So the circle of life is complete.

I think JB took the FF further than even Jack imagined. Under his run, they became even more cosmic, which is saying a lot. She-Hulk was not one of my favorite additions at the time, but the FF have always had new families members move in and out for a time and I can appreciate that much more now.

No shame in losing this one, Mr. Perez. I prefer JB's version of everything I've seen him do.
